Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Wayfare Digital collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Wayfare Digital is a trade name of Agsperience, Inc. ("we," "us"). It applies to wayfaredigital.com and to the services we provide to clients.
1. Information you give us
- Free site check: your email address and your website address.
- Project intake form: your name, business name, email, and phone number (optional). Also your type of business, your current website, what you need, links you share for inspiration, and how you'd like updates handled.
- Booking a call: when you book a Website Strategy Session or Kickoff Call, our scheduling tool (Cal.com) collects your name, email, business name, current website, and what you want your website to do. The meeting is added to our Google Calendar and held on Google Meet. If you pay for a session, your billing details are entered at Stripe checkout.
- Efficiency calculator and assessment: the numbers you enter in the calculator (team size, hours and hourly cost) and, if you take the assessment, your business name, industry, role, website (optional), the areas where time goes, the tools you use, your timeline and budget range, your name, email and phone number (optional). We save your answers as you move between steps so you don't lose them; nothing is saved from the calculator alone. We also record which page or campaign link sent you, without any query details from other sites.
- Client account: your email address, when you signed in, and the notes you send us from your account.
- Client communication: anything you send us while we work together, such as content, photos, logins you choose to share, and change requests.
2. Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card or bank account details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We can see limited details such as your name, email, billing address, and the last four digits of your payment method. We also see your payment history so we can manage your account. Stripe's handling of your data is covered by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
3. Information collected automatically
We use the Meta Pixel on wayfaredigital.com to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads. It tells Meta (Facebook) when someone visits a page, finishes the hiring quiz, starts or submits the assessment or clicks to book a call, and Meta may set its own cookies to do this. We don't send your name, email or answers to Meta. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, the pixel doesn't load. You can also manage ad tracking in your Facebook ad preferences. We don't use any other advertising trackers or analytics cookies.
On the efficiency calculator and its report we count a few events in our own database, such as "calculator viewed", "assessment started" and "report viewed", so we can see how well the pages work. These events carry a random visit number that lives only in your browser tab and is gone when you close it. We don't store your IP address with them, we don't use cookies for them, and we delete them after 13 months. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, the page sends no events at all. To know which link or site brought you here, your browser also keeps a small note of the first page you landed on, the site that linked to it (without the full address of the page) and any campaign tag in the link. That note stays in your browser for 90 days and is sent to us only with the calculator view count and with an assessment you choose to submit. If you sign in to your client account, we set one cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days; it is only used for your account and you can remove it by signing out. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and troubleshooting. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads. If you install our site as an app, your device stores a copy of the site so it loads quickly. That copy stays on your device.
4. How we use your information
- To reply to your requests and run your free site check.
- To prepare your efficiency report and follow up on it. We give each assessment a score so we know whom to call first; it is an internal estimate and never changes what you can buy from us. If you tick "Also email me a copy of my report", we email it to you once.
- To scope, build, host, and maintain your website.
- To bill you, send receipts, and let you know about failed payments.
- To send service messages about your site, like outages, updates, and renewals.
- To show you your site's health, billing, and notes in your client account.
- To keep our site and services secure and to meet legal obligations.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only as much as they need:
- Stripe, for payments and billing.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that run our site, our clients' sites, and our form and email automations.
- Email and communication tools we use to talk with you, including SendGrid for sign-in links and account emails.
- Google PageSpeed Insights and public domain registration lookups (RDAP), which we use to check the speed and domain renewal date of client websites. These receive your website's address, not your personal information.
- Cal.com and Google (Calendar and Meet), to schedule and hold our calls.
- Contractors who help deliver Marketing for Growth and Business Autopilot. They get access only to the accounts and content you approve and use it only to do that work.
We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.
6. Your clients' visitors
When we host or maintain a site for a client, the client decides what information that site collects from its own visitors. We handle that data only to provide our services to the client. Each client is responsible for its own site's privacy policy.
7. Marketing and automation services
If you use Marketing for Growth or Business Autopilot, you add us as a partner or manager on your social, Google, and ad accounts. We never ask for your passwords. We use that access only to provide the service, and you can remove it at any time. If your AI chat assistant answers visitor questions or takes bookings, those conversations are handled on your behalf, like the visitor data in section 6.
8. How long we keep it
Funnel events from the calculator are deleted after 13 months. We keep inquiry information, including assessments, for up to two years if you don't become a client. Client and billing records are kept for as long as your account is active, and afterward as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see below).
9. Security
Our site is served over HTTPS. Client accounts use one-time sign-in links that expire after 20 minutes, and we store only a scrambled (hashed) copy of each link. We limit access to client information to the people who need it and use reputable providers with strong security practices. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
10. Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Marketing emails go only to people who tick the separate marketing box, and every one has an unsubscribe link. You can also opt out of non-essential emails at any time. We'll still send messages needed to run your account, like receipts and payment notices. To make a request, email us at the address below.
11. Children
Our services are for businesses and aren't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from them.
12. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll notify active clients by email.
